Use a recent color head-and-shoulders photo.
Plain or light background is preferred.
Face the camera, keep the face centered, and use good lighting.
No sunglasses, caps, heavy filters, group photos, or cropped action shots.
Square or portrait image is best, ideally at least 800 x 800 pixels.

Consent Rule

If the player is below 18, attach parent or guardian consent.
The form will show the consent upload field automatically after DOB is entered.

Identity Rule

Players 18 and above must provide a NIC or passport number.
The playing category is selected from DOB and gender. Players born in 2011 must choose either their U15 or Open category.

Foreign Player Participation

Foreign players must be registered with SLTPL and are eligible for selection only through the official Player Auction or Draft unless retained under applicable provisions.
A Foreign Player means a player who is not a Sri Lankan citizen and is not domiciled in Sri Lanka, irrespective of dual nationality.
A Sri Lankan citizen is not considered a Foreign Player even if ordinarily residing outside Sri Lanka.
A non-citizen domiciled outside Sri Lanka is considered a Foreign Player despite temporary residence, visa, or short-term stay in Sri Lanka.
A foreign national lawfully residing and working in Sri Lanka under valid documentation, or married to a Sri Lankan citizen and habitually resident in Sri Lanka, is not deemed a Foreign Player.
Franchisees must not make private agreements with Foreign Players outside the official Player Auction or Draft process.
Foreign-player travel, accommodation, visa, insurance, and related costs are the franchisee's responsibility unless SLTPL agrees otherwise in writing.

What Happens Next

SLTPL admins review the submission.
Approved players can be imported into the SLTPL management portal.
Incomplete or incorrect submissions may be rejected for correction.
